Spreading the gravel was a dirty job. But I think I enjoyed it as much as any in the project. setting on the backhoe for 3 days was tough. After awhile I became proficient with the controls. I could hear nothing except the diesel engine. Best part was seeing that I was making progress. Notice the wind in some of the pictures. It was really blowing that week. Glad the direction was to the orchard. My neighbors would have been pissed at me.
