It's April and outside

we did a little wind break for the fire pit. We got 8 foot hop pole spikes put them in the ground then added sand imagine SAND. Next was set the 250 gal propane tank then digging the lines to the fire pit. That dumb Randy will do anything. Even with me on the Hoe. This was touch and go for awhile.

counter tops

Setting tile is fun I have done quite a bit in the other house and the office buildings. I was ready this was small job maybe a 18 pack. See the beer smile on that fat boy. Straight from the swamps.

Carpet furniture

This was a long day. The Bowens, Dan and Ann. Wow! Dan the caarpet man. He did this by himself. My job was keep the  Bloody Marys comming and stay out of the way. Great Friends since the begining. Ann was in our wedding. After the install I had the guts to ask for help getting this cabinet up the stairs. It took all of us. He did a beautiful job. Thanks Dan!

tarp wall

It was cold in there. We came up with this tarp wall to keep the cold in the boat half and the heat stays longer in the house. Three 10x16 tarps and a little rope.

painting cabinets

starting to look like a kitchen. these cabinets were in our house when we remoulded it in 1999. We had them in the garage for years. Amazing what a little paint will do.

Loft and kitchen both going

Working on the loft, kitchen and stairs all at the same time was a nightmare. We needed them all, so we found a way to complete them.  We would paint then let it dry go to the next part.
